The little things are the big things. That we're all in this together. What happens in your neighborhood affects world at large. What happens in the world at large affects you and your neighbors. Being woke is a compliment and is worthy of continued aspiration. Kindness doesn't equal weakness. Education, personal growth, and lifelong learning are fundamental for not only a better tomorrow but also a better today. Capitulation to a bully is never the answer, and standing up for the little guy (or girl, or non-binary, or any human) is always the answer. Love heals. Words wound. That liberty and justice for all is attainable. A world of opportunity and abundance is possible and worthy of creating. Nazis are bad full stop. And the cowardice and complicity that empowers Nazis is worse. That we all have something to give to the world. And we're all going to need to receive help at one time or another. Democracy matters. Voting matters. Encouragement matters. Community matters. People's authenticity self matters. Emotional intelligence matters. Intelligent intelligence matters. Creative intelligence matters. Courage matters. Generosity matters. Dignity matters. And problems have solutions--even if we haven't found them yet.
